Description
This 2020 Zinfandel is made from the grapes of two vineyards in Ventura County, one old vines and one new. We made this Zin with the Carbonic Masceration method of fermentation, putting whole clusters into a vat, pumping CO2 inside and leaving the native yeasts alone to do their thing. The result is a complex and nuanced Zinfandel, incorporation the depth of the old vines and the energy of the new, showing chocolate on the nose, but spices and herbs from the stems on the tongue. A Zin to be experienced!
